Events here and at other venues

Also for your diaries, our final Charity Collection event for this year is on Tuesday 18th June to support Centrepoint, the homeless charity. This will be a garden party at the manse from 2.00pm.

'Coffee morning and cake stall' will take place on Saturday 22nd June from 10am to 12 noon. We look forward to having some delicious cakes to go with the tea or coffee or to buy to take home for the weekend. This can’t happen without some volunteers to make cakes so please make a note of the date and plan ahead so that we can have a great fund raising event.

Our next Church Meeting will be after the service on Sunday 23rd June. Please note that it is a month earlier than last year.

Hoole United Reform Church invite you to a Songs of Praise with the Salvation Army Band on Sunday 30th June at 3.00pm. This will be followed by Afternoon Tea.

The joint service on the 7th July will be at Hoole URC led by Stephen Mitchell, the Child and Youth Development Office of the Mersey Synod.

The church here is a partnership between the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church, representing both traditions but worshiping and working together as one congregation.  As well as our Sunday services the Church offers activities for all ages through the week.

The Church also works in partnership with Great Boughton Parish Council.  We jointly own and manage the building with the Council to provide community centre facilities for the area, and a wide variety of groups meet here.

Whatever your reason for coming to Caldy Valley Church and Centre, you will be made very welcome.

Our regular services are:

  • 10:30am Sunday Morning Worship - activities for children are available
  • Inside Out Church - games, crafts, worship and food for families on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 4:00pm - 6:00pm
