Induction of Rev Martin Hardy as Minister
of the pastorate of Caldy Valley, Sealand Road
and Garden Lane churches in Chester

At a service attended by around 200 people at Caldy Valley Church on 12th May, the Rev Martin Hardy was inducted as the new Minister of the above pastorate.

Martin, as a Minister in the United Reformed Church, is coming to minister in an ecumenical situation. The pastorate is composed of Methodist and United Reformed congregations who took the decision to join forces and worship and work together.

Martin has been a Minister in the East Wirral team ministry, consisting of United Reformed Churches at Tranmere Highfield and Higher Bebington. Before his ordination some six years ago Martin was an accountant. He is married with two grown-up sons.
