Manic Youth Project

Monday, 8:00pm to 9:45pm

Manic is an open youth club for young people from Year 10 at high school onwards. We offer a wide range of activities like football, table tennis, pool, chess and there is also an x box to play on. We regularly make pizza/pasta suppers which are always very popular.

Our aim is that through this group we can:

  • Listen to young people’s needs and concerns
  • Build relationships based on respect, understanding and empathy
  • Encourage young people to think critically about their values and attitudes.

For more information please contact:
Margaret Fitzpatrick (01244) 323915.

Girls can join Brownies aged 7 and after a few weeks have a 'promise celebration evening' when they can wear their uniform for the first time and start their Brownie Adventure.

Activities include crafts, games and badge work. We meet with other packs for fun days out and challenge events and join Caldy Valley church for parade services four times a year.

Girlguiding is celebrating 100 years in 2010 so make sure your daughter is on our waiting list. The current charge is just £1.50 per week.
