SUNDAY WORSHIP
Caldy Valley Church meets for worship on Sunday mornings at 10.30 am

Please note that on the 1st Sunday of the month we share in joint worship and sometimes this will be at other local churches, so please check the details below.

and 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Inside Out church - all are welcome

**Tuesday 23rd April at 7 p.m. - Bible Fellowship in the church lounge at Caldy Valley - all welcome. 

**The next vision prayer meeting will be on Wednesday 24th April at 10 am in the church lounge.

**The joint service on Sunday 5th May is at Vicars Cross URC and will be led by Rev Dr Tessa Henry Robinson, the Moderator of the URC General Assembly

Commitment for life is the URC’s global justice programme

**Mersey does Mercy Event, on Saturday 11th May 2024, 10am to 3pm at Hoole URC – with a free lunch! Attendees must complete a booking form – contact via the link below.

Saturday 11th May at Wesley Church Centre, St Johns Street, Chester - 'The Beloved Son' a new play by Murray Watts, performed by Andrew Harrison.  Tickets £10 (under 18's £5) from Brian Heald (07734 582061) or Wesley Office (01244 323037) or on the door - see www.wesleychester.co.uk for more information.  Refreshments available from Wesley's cafe, before and after the play.

On Monday 13th May, 12noon to 3.00pm, at St Mary’s Without the Walls Church, Handbridge there will be Christian Aid Cream Tea afternoon. Come and enjoy your scones with jam and cream with a raffle available as well. 

On the Sunday 26th May at 10.30am there will be a joint service with Garden Lane and Blacon URC. Worship will be led by Rev Dr Noel Irwin, tutor in Public Theology and Church Related Community Development at Luther King Centre, Manchester. There will be a lunch after the service and we will need numbers for catering so consult your diaries and mark down the date. There will be an opportunity in the afternoon to learn more about Church Related Community Workers. 

Also for your diaries, our final Charity Collection event for this year is on Tuesday 18th June to support Centrepoint, the homeless charity. This will be a garden party at the manse from 2.00pm.

                     The church here is a partnership between the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church, representing both traditions but worshiping and working together as one congregation.  As well as our Sunday services the Church offers activities for all ages through the week. 

The Church also works in partnership with Great Boughton Parish Council.  We jointly own and manage the building with the Council to provide community centre facilities for the area, and a wide variety of groups meet here.  

Whatever your reason for coming to Caldy Valley Church and Centre, you will be made very welcome.  

Our regular services are:

  • 10:30am Sunday Morning Worship - activities for children are available     
  • Inside Out Church - games, crafts, worship and food for families on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 4:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Other special services - for wedding, baptism or funeral enquiries please contact our Minister, Rev Ceri Gardner at  revcgardnerhoole@gmail.com
